Our Hospital Unit has capacity for 39 residents. While the majority of our rest home residents are in our residential care apartments, we have 10 beds available in our hospital unit for people assessed as needing rest home care.
Before you can be admitted to any of our residential beds you need be assessed as needing residential care.
When assessed you will be advised whether you need a facility that offers either rest home, dementia or hospital level care. We offer two levels of care at EMRCC, rest home and hospital level. Please note our general rest home beds are full.
All residents are required to pay the residential care fee. This will be paid either privately or via the super and government subsidy depending on asset thresholds - this is established by WINZ not EMRCC staff.
